SKEET

If you are looking to keep your shooters eye sharp, skeet shooting could be for you.

North Bristol Sportsman’s Club has one skeet field overlaid on field #1. Unlike trap, skeet combines incoming, going away and crossing targets either thrown from a high or low house as singles or doubles. The rules for traditional American Skeet can be found here.

The range is available for open shooting whenever the club is open:

   Thursdays:                     11:00am – 8:00pm (May thru September)

                                          11:00am – 3:00pm (October thru April)

Saturdays and Sundays: 10:00am – 4:00pm (May thru September)

                                          10:00am – 2:00pm (October thru April)

Leagues

NBSC hosts several laid-back, prizeless skeet leagues, scrambles and an annual Mike Kipp Memorial 4x50 registered shoot:

  • Winter League:  Sunday 1/15 - 3/12 during open shooting hours.

  • Spring League: Thursday 3/23 - 5/25.  5 - 8 p.m.

  • Summer League:  Thursday 6/8 - 8/10.  5 - 8 p.m.

  • Fall League: Thursday 8/24 - 10/26.  5 - 8 p.m.

  • Mike Kipp Memorial Skeet shoot scheduled 5/13.  9 a.m. - 5 p.m.  This is a registered skeet tournament and we ask that trap field 2 not be used during the day when we are shooting.

*Members and non-members are welcome.

Please refer to the club calendar for specific dates.

Skeet Director: Jeff Renk

NBSC is affiliated with both the National Skeet Shooting Association and the Wisconsin Skeet Shooting Association.
